The protection of your personal data is very important to us. The “LUMINA” app was developed to ensure maximum data minimization. The app does not have permission to access the internet. Therefore, the transmission of data to the developer or to third parties is technically impossible.

Data Collection and Processing in This App

Local storage: All data you enter (specifically: your date of birth) is stored exclusively locally within the app on your device.

Purpose and legal basis: Your date of birth is processed solely for the purpose of calculating your “Personal Signature” within the app. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (fulfillment of the contractual relationship).

No server transmission: Your personal data is not transmitted to our servers or to third parties.

Retention period: Your date of birth remains stored until you change the data in the app’s settings or uninstall the app from your device.

App Permissions To function properly, the app requires the following permissions on your device:

Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Allows the app to remind you of lunar events.

Run after boot (RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED): Required to automatically update the app widgets after your device restarts.

Note: No location data is collected, and no other hardware permissions (such as camera or contacts) are requested.

Third-Party Providers and Tracking

The app does not use third-party trackers, ad networks, or analytics tools.

Your rights as a data subject

Since all data is stored exclusively locally on your device, you have full control. You can change your date of birth at any time in the app’s settings or delete all local data collected by the app. Uninstalling the app will also irrevocably delete all locally stored data.
